Resetting the GNOME login keyring

From time to time the GNOME keyring stops working: even when you enter the correct login password, it complains that the password is incorrect. To fix this, open a terminal and run the following command.

rm ~/.local/share/keyrings/login.keyring

Logout of your desktop session and log back in.
